The relaxation massage at Holistic Medical Clinic relieves everyday stress and helps you loosen general muscle tension. However, there is a difference between the relaxation massage and massage therapy treatment offered at our clinic.
The Relaxation Massage Service is provided by an unlicensed individual that is upfront and honest about the fact they are unlicensed. In this case, the person performing the relaxation massage would be known as a masseuse/masseur and not a massage therapist. It is up to the patient’s decision whether they feel comfortable with the service. A relaxation massage service is an option for those on a budget or without extended health insurance.
On the other hand, Massage Therapy Treatment is offered by practitioners licensed in Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) who use their knowledge of physiology and anatomy to combine traditional Swedish and modern massage therapy techniques to treat our clients.
