Hip Osteoarthritis
Gradual joint changes that can cause groin or thigh pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. Symptoms may worsen with prolonged walking or after rest.
Hip Bursitis & Gluteal Tendinopathy
Irritation of the gluteal tendons and nearby bursa can cause outer hip pain, especially when lying on that side, climbing stairs, or walking.
Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI)
Changes in the shape of the hip joint can create contact during movement and may contribute to groin pain, stiffness or pinching with squatting, twisting or prolonged sitting.
Hip Labral Tear
An injury to the cartilage surrounding the hip socket that may cause groin pain, stiffness, clicking, catching, or locking.
Hip Flexor Strain or Tendinopathy
Injury or irritation of the tissues at the front of the hip, often causing pain with running, kicking, climbing stairs, or lifting the knee.
Snapping Hip Syndrome
A tendon moving over a bony area may create snapping or popping during movement. It is often painless but can become uncomfortable if surrounding tissues are irritated.
Other hip concerns we see: hip dysplasia · groin and adductor strains · proximal hamstring tendinopathy · deep gluteal syndrome · sacroiliac joint-related pain · post-operative rehabilitation · referred lower-back pain
