WSIB Physiotherapy
Structured rehabilitation and return-to-work support after a workplace injury.

Physiotherapy after a workplace injury
A workplace injury can affect your movement, function and ability to complete your regular job duties. A physiotherapy assessment can identify your current abilities and rehabilitation needs while considering the physical demands of your work.
Care may address sprains, strains, back or neck pain, repetitive strain injuries, joint pain, stiffness, weakness or reduced mobility.

Getting started with a WSIB claim
Report the injury – Tell your employer about the injury as soon as possible. If a WSIB claim has not already been started, report the injury or illness to WSIB.
Book an assessment – Let us know the injury is work-related. Bring your WSIB claim number if one has been assigned, along with any available claim details.
Assessment and reporting – We assess your injury and submit applicable treatment information and reports to WSIB.
Rehabilitation and work planning – Care progresses according to program eligibility, your recovery and the demands of your work. Treatment may also support a gradual transition through modified or regular duties.
